Security forces recover arms, explosives in J&K

The recoveries include one RPG launcher, six rockets, six rocket boosters, four kgs of RDX, four Chinese grenades and timers.

Security forces have recovered a large quantity of arms and explosives, including six rockets and four kgs of RDX, from terrorist hideouts in Rajouri and Doda districts, Defence sources said on Saturday.

Based on specific information, security forces busted a natural cave type of hideout in Sardhar forest in Budhal area of Rajouri district on Friday, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included one RPG launcher, six rockets, six rocket boosters, four kgs of RDX, four Chinese grenades and timers.

The forces also busted another hideout at Gantak Nallah in Doda district this morning and recovered from it one 303 rifles with some ammunition and 100 meter electric wire, they said.
