Profit booking at Thursday's higher levels pushes down the benchmark BSE index to 11,906.19 in early trade.
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, fell by 66.83 points at 11,906.19 points in early trade on Friday on emergence of profit booking at Thursday's higher level.
The Sensex, which had crossed 12,000 level on the previous day, fell 66.83 points at 11,906.19 points in the first five minutes of trading.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange Index Nifty dropped by 19.45 points at 3,452.15 points.
