Sensex ends higher by 174.77 pts

The benchmark index Sensex closed higher by 174.77 points on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday on buying by foreign as well as domestic funds in heavy-weighted stocks.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty closed higher by 66.15 points at 3142.00, after touching a high of 3147.70 points.
