Set for a new role

Actor Patrick Dempsey, best known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr Derek Shepherd on the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, has been signed for Transformers 3.

He will be playing the boss of Mikaela Banes, the character portrayed by Megan Fox. It is reported that Dempsey’s role is important to the plot. The film will also star Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky.
