SRKFootball is turning Bollywood footloose, with a host of heroes flying for the FIFA World Cup finale on Thursday. Those who are packing their bags for Johannesburg include Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.

But it’s actor Imran Khan who has bagged a VVIP seat as a leading fizzy’s representative from India. Fiancée Avantika Malik will not be with him since she is currently in Europe, but Khan will be taking a couple of friends along as "it’s no fun watching football alone". And, it’s Germany that Imran is rooting for. "Spain was expected to get through but I was shocked by Germany’s 4-0 demolition of Argentina. Their teamwork is phenomenal and Germany has a good chance of making it."

Shah Rukh Khan is making sure his kids don’t miss the soccer spectacle. His Twitter update reads, "Taking kids for the matches (World Cup) in South Africa," where he stands a chance of running into Dino Morea and John Abraham. John had said in an interview, "I’m the biggest, craziest football fan in Mumbai. And to me there’s no bigger event than the World Cup. I’ve my tickets for the finals booked and I’m all ready to go. However, I have a last-minute engagement now for a pre-production work on Dostana 2 just a day before the finals. I’m still trying to go. Otherwise I’ll watch all the games from home." Amitabh Bachchan’s blog, too, expresses his "absolute desire to be there for the final.

"The leading ladies are not far behind. Actress Lara Dutta, who has confessed to being a big football fan, can’t wait to take off. "I’m betting on seeing the Germans play the Dutch in Jo’burg and if I can help it, I’ll try to stay off the yellow and green paint!" she says excitedly. Sameera Reddy, who had a ticket to the finals, has gifted it to sister Sushma Reddy as she won’t be able to make it.
