Seven task forces in a day!

DISTRICT MAGISTRATE Ramendra Nath Tripathi on Monday announced seven task forces to monitor supply of optimum water, power supply and sanitation condition.
The district magistrate had said water, power and sanitation were his topmost priorities. He instructed all the seven teams how they would coordinate with each other and people for immediate and sustainable problem-solving. A magistrate from district administration will head each team. He had announced that he had divided the city into seven sectors to tackle the three problems.
The team leader magistrate will coordinate with respective Circle Officer(CO) of police, Jal Sansthan officer, LESA officer and LMC officer for immediate problem-solving.
He issued instructions that the officers in each team, on daily basis, will report situation and progress feedback to respective additional district magistrate (ADM). And in case a problem or complain is of serious nature then the teams will have to inform the DM too.
To the teams, he suggested most of the time when small problems are addressed right at the onset, then they get sorted out easily. But, if left unattended, they tend to snowball into bigger problems. So it’s best to attend a problem immediately at the onset.
Tripathi said: “There are a lot of cases of power and water supply disruption these days. So special focus and efforts are required to tackle all this.” He also said summers and approaching monsoons made many city areas susceptible to infectious diseases and advance preparations be done to nip diseases in the bud.
