Tanushree Dutta seems to be getting into more controversies than films since she entered the industry two years ago. The actress, who has been linked with her Aashiq Banaya Aapne director Aditya Dutt, accused of playing truant by Vivek Agnihotri and recently had a catfight with Riya Sen, reportedly had a showdown with Pammi Baweja, the producer of Speed.

The cast — Urmila Matondkar, Aftab Shivdasani, Sanjay Suri, Zayed Khan, Aashish Chowdhry, Amrita Arora, Sophie and Tanushree — were needed for a promo song for Speed at Filmalaya Studios. While everyone was on time for the 2 pm to 2 am shift, Tanushree reportedly didn’t show up till 10 pm.

A source associated with the film said, “Pammiji kept calling Tanushree but got no response. While every star was on time, Tanushree didn’t even call Pammiji to tell her about the delay.”

The source added, “When she did come, after 10 pm, she told Pammiji that her spotboy had her cellphone and she couldn’t answer her or call her back then. But Pammiji wasn’t convinced.”

Pammi denied it, saying: “We knew Tanushree was shooting for Raj Kanwar’s film and was required late for our shoot. There’s no question of a showdown. I treat all my actors like my children and have never had any issues with them.” Dutta was unavailable for comment.
