'Single largest combine should be invited to form Govt'

Congress and JD(S) should be invited to form the next govt in Karnataka if the final tally of BJP falls short of 100, party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said.

Congress and JD(S) should be invited to form the next government in Karnataka if the final tally of BJP falls short of 100, party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said on Sunday.

"Nobody is suggesting that BJP should not make the government. If they cross 107 they will have the first chance," he said, however, adding that if the BJP gets less than 100 then Congress-JD(S) should be called.

He said that the single largest formation would be invited to provide a viable possibility of forming a viable government.
