The window will help NRI investors get necessary approvals from various government departments and agencies.

NRIs who want to invest in India find certain roadblocks in areas of licences and infrastructure facilities.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister J Geeta Reddy also told newsmen on Saturday that an e-based Indian Diaspora Knowledge network, a platform to facilitate global information exchange and networking between overseas Indians and people within the country will be announced at the 4th Bharatiya Divas (PBD) here.

Stating that 1500 overseas delegates and 500 Indian delegates would participate in the PBD, the minister said that 12 state Chief ministers have confirmed their participation.

Eight parallel sessions would be held during the celebrations in which Chief Ministers and NRIs would discuss investment opportunities in their respective states.

Reddy said Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh would inaugurate the PBD celebrations on January 7 and the President APJ Abdul Kalam would attend the valedictory function on January 9.
