Sonia Gandhi calls CWC meet on Sunday to discuss poll debacle

Congress president Sonia Gandhi convened a meeting of Working Committee for Sunday to take stock of the rout in assembly polls.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday convened a meeting of the Congress Working Committee for December 7 to take stock of the party's rout in assembly elections.

Besides members of the CWC, all the Special Invitees, chief ministers of party-ruled states as well as those who lost in the assembly polls would attend the crucial meeting on Sunday, spokesman S Jaipal Reddy told reporters.
