Party sources said around 20,000 workers of the party, including Block and District Congress presidents from across the country, will participate in the convention.
A meeting of senior Congress leaders was held at the AICC to discuss the modalities of the preparations and making arrangement for the delegates for the convention to be held at the Ramlila Grounds.
Leaders who attended the meeting included Defence Minister AK Antony, General Secretaries Digvijay Singh, Prithviraj Chavan and Mukul Wasnik, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Minister of State Ajay Maken, DPCC President JP Aggarwal, amongst others.
