State-of-the-art OT, ICU inaugurated at Hindalco Hospital

CHIEF OPERATING Officer (COO) of Hindalco Ratan Shah inaugurated the state-of-the-art operation theatre and ICU unit at the Hindalco Hospital here recently.
On the occasion, Shah congratulated the entire team of doctors and staff for providing latest treatment facilities. “We have to make this hospital a largest hospital of the State with different superspecialities. There were also plans to convert the hospital into a medical college”, he said. “I am also ready to provide all the possible help for improving facilities at the hospital,” he added.
Chief of medical services, Dr Anil Jain informed about the different facilities of the hospital. The 148-bed hospital is managed by 22 specialists and over hundred nursing and paramedical staff. The hospital is providing medical and health facilities to over 22000 people.
“The different departments are providing regular treatment to cardiology, diabetes, asthma, respiratory disease and kidney patients. The hospital also has ICCU, neo natal intensive care unit and three operation theatres. The surgeries are conducted with the laparoscopic technique. The specialists and complicated surgeries are also conducted at the hospital. There were also plans to open neurology department,” he informed.
Dr Jain said the emergency department is equipped with all the life saving equipment like adult and paediatric ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, electronic flow regulators, incubators and ultraviolet sterilisers.
Also present on the occasion were RP Shah, Ajay Srivastava, Rahul Mehnot, Anil Sinha, KK Patodia and the office-bearers of recognised employees union.
