Station commanders? meet held
STATION COMMANDERS Conclave of Air Force Stations under the Central Air Command (CAC) was held at this headquarters on September 11. The Commanders of the Air Force Stations located in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttaranchal and Maharashtra attended this conclave. During this conclave, the performance and progress on operational, maintenance and administrative aspects of the stations was discussed.

The Commanders of the Air Force Stations located in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttaranchal and Maharashtra attended this conclave. During this conclave, the performance and progress on operational, maintenance and administrative aspects of the stations was discussed.
Air Marshal JS Gujral PVSM VM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command expressed his satisfaction at the implementation of the directives by the commanders in field.
He appreciated the commanders for their good work in flight safety and implementation of IMMOLS project. The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief touched upon the services rendered by the Indian Air Force during the recent natural calamities.
Talking about the present security scenario, he said security of information and physical security of bases should be of prime concern.
During the conclave, commanders were addressed by Air Marshal AK Nagalia AVSM VM VSM, Dy Chief of Air Staff and Air Marshal YR Rane AVSM VM, Air Officer in charge Personnel on modernisation plan and HR policies of the Indian Air Force respectively.
Meanwhile, a special entertainment programme (Puppet Show) on the occasion of Army Wives Welfare Day was organised at the Auditorium of Selection Centre East in a very colourful manner for the wives and children of the jawans of new cantonment under the aegis of headquarterrs Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and Allahabad.
The programme was coordinated by station workshop EME, Allahabad
under the guidance of Colonel S Tandon.
The puppet show was staged by a professional group especially arranged for this purpose, according to a press release issued here on Monday.
