Member (Administration) of the bench C R Mohapatra adjourned the hearing of the case yesterday and fixed the next date for hearing and final order on the interim orders passed on July 16.

The bench last month had granted stay on the operation of the government order of suspension of the IAS officer who is booked by State Vigilance director in a criminal case for his alleged involvement in getting pecuniary benefits from multi-crore linkage coal scam.

Meanwhile, the state government has filed an application before the bench seeking to vacate the stay order which, however, has been put off for hearing on the next date.
