Students take out rally
COLOURFUL BHARAT Ekta rally was taken out by students in the city on Tuesday. The rally organised by Gorakhpur JC under its week-long programme, started at 7 am from DB Inter College and passed through Nakhas, Ghasikatra and Townhall crossing. Members of the minorities community welcomed the rally at Nakhas crossing while district magistrate Dr Hariom welcomed it near his residence.

The rally attracted large number od onlookers on the way.
Thousands of students drawn from Government Jubilee Inter College, AD Girls College and MG College, accompanied with bands and music parties, were seen carrying placards in their hands with slogans written on them.
The objective of the rally was to strengthen tolerance and harmony in the society.
The march was welcomed by DDU University vice-chancellor Prof Arun Kumar at the university gate.
