The USP of Quiznos is their subs, but there’s no option to create your own. The prices, too, are slightly higher. A regular six-inch sub starts at a price of Rs 140 and goes up to Rs 200. We order the Lamb Shikampuri sub (Rs 175), which we got for Rs 110 as it was the sub of the day. After taking ages to prepare, what is served to us is a messy presentation that’s spilling out from all sides. To taste, however, it was quite nice. The kebab was spicy, offsetting the sweet barbecue sauce aptly.
Our Chicken Alfredo pizza (Rs 180) was as tiny as they come; it was loaded with cheese, diced chicken sausages, capsicum and onions (the menu doesn’t reveal these details, so surprise if you don’t like capsicum!). It’s the kind of snack you would wolf down, but not remember the taste of, at all. Nothing stands out. We ended our meal with a Blueberry Yogurt (Rs 75). Served generously, the dessert was yummy. If Quiznos wants to draw customers, they have some serious catching up to do. Meanwhile, we hope their salads and sammies (burrito-like preparations) fare better.
