Sudanese plane hijacked to Chad

No immediate details on hijackers or the number of passengers in the plance were provided.

A Sudanese plane on a domestic flight was hijacked on Wednesday and was headed to the Chadian capital, a government source told the agency.

The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, did not give details of the hijackers nor say how many passengers were on the plane.

"A Sudanese domestic flight was hijacked this morning. It is being followed by our planes and should land at any moment at N'Djamena airport," the source said.
