Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu appointed new HPCC chief

"Consequent upon the resignation of Virbhadra Singh from the presidentship of the Himachal Pradesh Congress committee, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had been nominated as the officiating president till a full fledged PCC president is appointed.

Now, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has appointed Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as the president of the Himachal Pradesh congress committee with immediate effect," Dwivedi said in a release.
