Supreme Federer hands Roddick warning

Roger Federer had an ominous warning for rival Andy Roddick before Sunday's men's final at Wimbledon.

"I think I'm a more complete player now than I was last year," said the Swiss defending champion, who thrashed Roddick 7-6 6-3 6-3 in the semi-finals at the All England Club 12 months ago.
"Last year's semi-final was so incredible, it was one of the most exciting matches for me to play.
"It's still very difficult for me to understand why and how come I'm so dominant this year.
"But with every match, I go with the same attitude on the court. What counts is to be in the same position again. I'm very happy to be in the final again and actually have a chance to defend my title."
Federer became the first Swiss man to win a grand slam title at the championships last year.
Since then he has chalked up a 23-match winning streak on grass, matching the run of American Pete Sampras, who won seven singles title at the grasscourt grand slam.
"Now I actually have a chance to win my second Wimbledon and also surpass that winning streak by Sampras," said the world number one, who has not been beaten on the surface since falling in the first round at Wimbledon in 2002.
"Last year's grass season was just incredible. This year I hoped I could just at least play as well at Wimbledon.
"I started this season at Halle and have since hardly lost a serve or a set. For me it's very difficult to explain how that happens. It seems like everything is just working for me."
