TCS Q3 net up at Rs 679.65 cr

TCS added 83 clients during the third quarter, with an employee intake of 6076 for the last three months.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has posted a marginal increase in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 at Rs 679.65 crore as compared to Rs 643.81 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

Revenues during the reporting fiscal increased to Rs 3,302 crore as against Rs 2,696 crore a year ago, the company said in a release.
