"We have decided not to shoot Telugu films in Australia as a mark of protest against attacks on Indian students," Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) President Tammareddy Bharadwaja said.

"We will not go to Australia for film shoots till the situation is normal," he told PTI.

Australia has seen a series of attacks on Indian students, the most serious being the assault of Shravan Kumar, a 25-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh who was hospitalised there after being stabbed by a group of teens in a weekend attack.
