Adhyayan Suman shares his perfect meal with Roshmila Bhattacharya..

What do you start the day with?
It’s usually a cup of green tea and an apple.

And what do you end the day with?
Sometimes shoots end only at 5 am, so then I’d end the day with breakfast which is usually an omelette made from the whites of five eggs and a glass of sweet lime juice

What’s your perfect meal?
Red Thai Curry, Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg fried rice and chocolate pastry. But since this wouldn’t be a healthy meal, I’d probably opt for one with no carbs, a green vegetable and daal.

What do you always serve guests?
Coke, tea, coffee and some biscuits.

The one person whose dinner invitation you would definitely accept.?
Shahana Goswami and Anjana Sukhani, my co-stars in Jashn.. they are both great cooks.

On a date what would you like to be wooed with?
Chocolate cake.

If you were marooned on an island what would you want?
What a fantasy, an island with catering service! I’ll order my perfect meal every day.. the not-so-healthy one of Red Thai Curry, egg fried rice etc. And please don’t forget the dessert. I’ll settle for anything made from chocolate.

Your first culinary experiment?
I made an omelette while studying at Mayo College. To my surprise it turned out pretty good and gave me the confidence to try Butter Chicken. Unfortunately, that experiment was a disaster. The pressure cooker blew up and I was banned from the kitchen.

The yuckiest thing you have ever tasted?
There was this weird dish I had when in Thailand made from starfish. Eww!

As a child is there something you had to have everyday?
Milk, yuck! Now I stick to Diet Coke.

Is there a festival which you associate with food?
Eid, for the mutton biryani.

What do you cool down with in summer?
Fresh lime soda.

What do you crunch on when there’s a nip in the air?
Vada pao and bhajias. But now that I’m an actor, I rarely binge on road food. The last time I did was two years ago.

Do you have a miracle diet?
Yeah, cups of green tea, salad without dressing, green vegetables and egg whites.

When you go shopping what do you usually end up buying?
Kit Kats in plenty, I love chocolates of any kind.

If you could choose your last meal it would be?
Red Thai Curry, Sweet and Sour Chicken, do I need to go on? The chef at Spices, Hotel JW Marriott, makes awesome Red Thai Curry. That’s why I am always stopping there with friends. If no one will accompany me, I go alone.
