I?m off to Europe for my lecture tours so, London and Rome are hot for me this summer. Then, my range of cotton sarees that are so special. Summer also means fruits? all sorts of them. I look forward to fresh, juicy fruits in Europe.

I’m off to Europe for my lecture tours so, London and Rome are hot for me this summer. Then, my range of cotton sarees that are so special. Summer also means fruits… all sorts of them. I look forward to fresh, juicy fruits in Europe. Basically, of course, you can say, indulging my senses and indulging my intellect is hot for me this summer… (and always).

I will give up aerated drinks completely and include more green vegetables in my diet. Sari is my favourite dress and this summer I am looking forward to including pastel shades, some pinks and soft soothing colours in my wardrobe. My husband, being an IPS officer, has a very systematic schedule and I also need to follow it. One important thing on my agenda is re-associating myself with Missionaries of Charities. I have missed Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara, Parineeta and Pride & Prejudice which I need to watch. An avid reader I have to read the book on Amrita Shergil and Hillary Clinton’s biography. Professionally, I have lots of plans for my school and teachers.

Linen is hot this summer. Light but fun-filled informal dresses will be cool for me. I need to add-on some new shades. Superman, Krrish and Kajol-Aamir-starrer Fanaa is on the cards and I will soon start reading The maneater of Rudraprayag. Since, my family is not with me here I need to provide a cool summer for Lucknowites which have become a family for me. Summer carnival for kids with lots of activities once the extended part of the mall opens next month.

Colours are which will cool me in this hot season. Pastel, bright and some bold new variants in Indian dressing are hot for me this season. We went holidaying in Egypt and now plan to chill out in the hills. With long evenings ahead it’s will be more of a family affair now which includes going to the club. I also need to focus on our new store ‘Denim Republic’ at Sahara Ganj. I am looking forward to reading Inevitable law of branding. Movies is not my cup of tea but Ash and SRK are still hot for me .

QWAIS RAZA Qadri is a young natkhwan latest sensation from Pakistan. You’ve got to hear him. His melodious voice brings tears to your eyes even when there are no accompaniments. Then, sufi music and of course, chess is permanently hot for me and this summer, it’s going to be Turin, Italy for in May it hosts the 37th Chess Olympiad. In any case, the hotter it gets outside, the hotter are the chess battles, with rounds and rounds of sherbet and nimbu paani, in your cosy living room.

Full and short kurtas, skirts, full sleaves tops (to beat the sun) in shades of pink, white and other light shades. I am also focusing on the air-hostess course I am persuing. And, any good offers are welcome for me. Akshay Kumar is hot for me and I will see Humko Deewana Kar Gaye. I also need a haircut and Lakme will decide my new style. Let’s see.

Nothing in particular is hot for me. Most of my interests are need based and keeps changing. This summer I believe: Good sunglasses, comfortable cotton outfits, light shade lip colors and above all good sun-block lotions seem to my draw attention. More and more outlets for quality garments and accessories are opening in Lucknow. I wish there were some juice and mock-tail parlours in Lucknow. Fitness, beauty and health can be taken care in the heat of a lucrative business option! Is someone listening?

I have to cut on flab this season and soon I will be joining a gym. The hunt is already on, You can say the GYM HUNT is really the hottest item on my agenda for Summer-2006! And why not, I have to lose weight to get into capris and halters and all my other favourite items in the wardrobe. As regards, colours, pastels shades are hot for me this summer. And, in keeping with my Mission Weight Loss, a restricted diet will include fresh lime, light food and summer special dal-chawal will be on my menu too. Last year I holidayed in Kerala and now it may be Goa or Srinagar, let’s see. Now, that destination gotta be cool. In movies, I have to check out the on-screen chemistry between Amir and Kajol in Fanaa at the recently opened PVR. As I have recently shifted my salon, it must rock again.
