The plane vanished from radar all of a sudden: DGCA official

The civil chartered plane, that crashed in Faridabad on Wednesday night killing ten people, including all the seven onboard, was in contact with the Air Traffic Control and on the radar before suddenly vainishing and losing touch, a senior DGCA official said.

The civil chartered plane, that crashed in Faridabad on Wednesday night killing ten people, including all the seven onboard, was in contact with the Air Traffic Control and on the radar before suddenly vainishing and losing touch, a senior DGCA official said.

"They (plane) were in contact. They were on the radar scope but all of a sudden, the plane vanished", said A K Saran, Joint Director of DGCA who visited the crash site.

He said a DGCA team would visit the crash site for investigation on Thursday morning and find what may have caused the accident.
