BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra said the Congress manifesto was just a cleverly worded document. "In many respects it has copied points in our manifesto", he said.
Both Malhotra and Delhi BJP president Madan Lal Khurana said that though the Congress talks of full statehood, it had taken no steps in that direction.
"After 1952, it is for the first time that the Congress has mentioned statehood in its manifesto. It talks of land-related policies, which it is under the Centre," he said.
