Total number of parliamentary constituencies: 107

States/union territories going to polls: Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu.

Total number of candidates: 1,567

Total number of women candidates: 101 (No women candidate in Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu)

Parliamentary seat with maximum candidates: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (41).

Parliamentary seat with largest number of woman candidates: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (5)

Party-wise number of candidates: Bharatiya Janata Party (95), Bhujan Samaj Party (102), Communist Party of India-Marxist (15), Congress (93), Nationalist Congress Party (19), Communist Party of India (9), Rashtriya Janata Dal (8).
