It is being sponsored by SmallIndustries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
Speaking on the occasion, IIA State president Tarun Khetrpal stressed upon the importance of technology in the highly competitive world. “This workshop will provide knowledge of new plastic materials and processes so that the plastic industry can take advantage and compete globally”, stated Khetrpal.
Workshop coordinator from CIPET KJ Ghai urged industrialists to adopt the latest developments in technology to meet the competition.
He also stressed that there was vast scope for export of plastic products.
“Plastic industry of the country has to compete with China and therefore, it must improve its quality and productivity through technological intervention and expand its market reach,” stated Ghai.
