Three debt-ridden weavers end life

Three debt-ridden weavers committed suicide in Sircilla in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, says the police.

Three debt-ridden weavers committed suicide in Sircilla in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.

Three weavers C Mallesham (40), Vengala Srinivas (25) and Cherla Srinivas committed suicide in separate incidents yesterday, said Sircilla Deputy Superintendent of Police P Ashok.

Mallesham committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan, Vengala Srinivas consumed chemical used by the weavers and Cherla Srinivas ended his life by jumping into pond, he added.

It may be recalled that six weavers have committed suicide in the last fortjeevi, chief of newly formed Praja Rajyam Party.
