Following is a timetable of the planned events for the day, all in GMT (British time is one hour ahead of this):
Saturday morning: Charles and Parker Bowles arrive separately at Windsor Castle.
1125: The couple leave the castle for the short drive to the Windsor Guildhall, the wedding venue, arriving about five minutes later for the private civil ceremony.
1155: Charles and his new wife -- now officially Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall -- return to Windsor Castle.
1330: Beginning of a religious blessing ceremony for the marriage at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, lasting 45 minutes.
1415: The couple leave the chapel and meet representatives from a series of their favourite charities.
1445: They are driven from the castle's Henry VIII Gate to the State Apartments for a reception given by Queen Elizabeth II.
About 1645: The newlyweds leave Windsor Castle for a honeymoon in Scotland.
About 1845: They arrive in Aberdeen, northern Scotland, to be met by pipers.
