Unknown to the screen queen, the bangle-manufacturer and die-hard fan of Rai is making bangles made of lac (Lahathi) for the actress to go with her bridal dress.

Kale, who is the owner of Raja Lahathi Bhandar in Islampur Bazar of Muzaffarpur, has not missed a movie starring either Aishwarya or Abhishek.

Kale has been making lac bangles for the last 10 years and with a rich experience in designing and crafting them for hundreds of brides.

As soon as engagement of the two stars was announced, Kale summoned his best professionals and put them on the job. He wishes Aishwarya wears the bangles, considered auspicious in weddings, that he has so painstakingly designed. Kale has studded them with arti ficial jewels and crystals, with names of Aishwarya and Abhishek standing out.

Ask Kale and he says, “I would have loved to present them personally to Aishwaryaji but I do not want travel all the way since it is not certain that I will be able to meet her. I think I will courier the choicest lac bangles to her and will keep my fingers crossed.”
