The dance floor occupies level one and level two has the seating area. The view from the top level is unusual – you suddenly realise how wide Hill Road is. And that’s when your order arrives.
The Lamb Peri-Peri (Rs 340) sizzler arrived sizzling with the meat and the fresh veggies. What was supposed to be peri-peri sauce, however, tasted almost exactly like tomato sauce mixed with red chili. The Vegetable Stroganoff (Rs 240) was the pick of the evening.
Once a month, however, the level one lounge turns into a gig venue and hosts special DJ nights. The weekend we visited happened to be the first such night. With a fixed menu for food and drinks, this night almost ruined the experience for us. Let’s just say the most fun we had involved wondering what the peculiar dishes spelt ‘Prawan crispy’, ‘Corn cheese ball’ and ‘BBQ baby patato’ on the menu would actually taste like.
The fixed menu on those nights offers cocktails and mocktails. The Long Island Iced Tea (Rs 500) was so-so, but the Bloody Mary (Rs 500), which the bartender took a good three seconds to understand, came to us perfectly.

Feels like Lokhandwala’s not-so-distant cousin. No offence.
