As a result of the derailment, the Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express, Howrah-Chennai Coromandel Express, Kharagpur-Balasore MEMU passenger and Kharagpur Balasore passenger have been cancelled.

The Howrah-Bhubaneswar Dhauli Express has been short terminated at Kharagpur, while Puri-Howrah Sri Jagannath Express at Belda and Mysore-Howrah Special have also been short terminated at Belda.

The railways have arranged buses to bring the stranded passengers of Jagannath Express and Mysore Special.
