Some young Indian Americans working on development projects Ahmedabad are exploring the possibility of bringing over unused relief material meant for 9/11 victims in the US for the tsunami-hit.

Reshma Sapre, who participated in relief work in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in the US, proposed that unused materials like tents, clothes, some medicines and woolens could be brought to India for those affected by the tidal waves.
"I have contacted some friends who did post 9/11 voluntary work with me," said Sapre, who is in the city working on a developmental project coordinated by the voluntary agency Indicorps.
