Two arrested for double murder

BABAI POLICE in Itarsi nabbed two persons in connection with the brutal killing of two women, whose decomposed bodies were recovered by police recently. Superintendent of Police (in-charge) AK Pande gave this information at a press conference at police control room last night.

Babai police based on information arrested two youths Bhavani Kahar (19) and Ganesh Kahar (20) from their houses in Sangakhera Kalan and the youths have admitted to the crime.

The villagers beat up both the youths after they teased Prembai and Rukmanibai. Annoyed and filled with revenge they brutally killed both the women with an axe, removed the silver rings from the women’s legs and fled.
