Police and Maoists exchanged several rounds of fire following which two ultas were arrested and explosives seized from them from Bhalua forest area in Bihar's Gaya district, police said.
Police and Maoists exchanged several rounds of fire following which two ultas were arrested and explosives seized from them from Bhalua forest area in Bihar's Gaya district today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a place in the forest where the Maoists had assembled to plan a crime, sources said.

On seeing the policemen, the Maoists fired resulting in an encounter during which both sides exchanged several rounds of fire, sources said.
Police succeeded in capturing two Maoists and recovered explosives, including nine can bombs, besides a looted police rifle during the operation, sources said.
