Two minor girls were raped in two separate incidents. Both the accused have been arrested.

Mahila police station incharge Anuradha Girwal said that around a fortnight back the 16-year-old girlk, who works as a singer in a orchestra, was asked by Kanha Jaiswal, owner of a theater troupe, to accompany him for a programme in Betma in Dhar district.

After the performance, the girl was put up in a hotel. When she complained of having a headache, Kanha gave her a medicine mixed with drugs and raped her.

He allegedly kept her in a hotel for 14 days and raped her and recorded the incidents to blackmail her. When the girl returned home, she told her ordeal to her family members who later lodged a case.

In the second incident, Govind Keer, a resident of Derakheri on Sanver Road, kept a 15-year-old with him and raped her on the pretest of marriage. The girl has been rescued and Govind arrested.
