Migrant labourer Sarjiban (42) was gunned down in Singjamei area while, sugarcane juice seller Rajkumar Choudhury (18) was shot dead at Kwakeithel area yesterday.

This is the second incident in three days in which unknown gunmen shot dead non-Manipuri persons in the district.

A barber identified as Suresh Thakur was shot dead at Sagolband area on Saturday. The motive behind the crime was not known.

Since last year, 15 non-Manipuris have been shot dead by suspected militants in the state.
