Two women were killed when a cattle shed collapsed due to heavy rains in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir in Jammu, police officials said in Jammu.

Due to heavy rains two women identified as Mariam Begum and Shahin Akhter had taken shelter under the cattle shed in Kalas village in Thanamandi tehsil of Rajouri district on Wednesday, they said, adding they were buried when it collapsed.

The bodies were later recovered by the villagers, they said.
