BHARATIYA JANSHAKTI Party national president and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti has found out a special way to strike a chord with voters in Uttar Pradesh.

She is out on a tour to hold a series of talk shows in various districts to broaden her party’s base in the State. The first such show was held in Allahabad and the firebrand sanyasin’s second stop will be Kanpur.

The talk show in Kanpur will be held on July 28 and Uma will interact with a select audience on the issue of ‘State and direction of politics in the present scenario’.

At the talk show here, she will try to convince the participants about the importance of a regional party in the present scenario. Two prominent party activists Viveksheel Shukla and Babu Ram Nishad have been made coordinators for the event.

Shukla said the gathering would include 200 people and mediapersons. “Special care has been taken to bring people from varied professions at the event,” he added.

He said with such interactive shows, Bharti would not only grasp the feelings of the people about the present political situation but also get a chance to detail her agenda towards the people’s woes.

Later, she would also address a public meeting at Jajmau on the same day.
