Expelled BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti would announce her new political party on April 30 in Varanasi.
Before announcing the name of her party in Varanasi, she would perform 'puja' of the flag of the proposed party in Ujjain, former Union Minister and Convenor of Bharti's 'Janadesh Yatra', Swami Chinmayanad told newspersons in Pratapgarh on Tuesday.
Criticising the BJP, Chinmayanad said Uma Bharti was providing an "alternative for the honest and dedicated workers of the BJP," which would "soon be finished," by floating a new political party.
The former Union Minister said the BJP leaders stood "exposed" in public due to their "double standards". Senior leaders are "involved in mud-slinging over issues like Kandahar, Jinnah and Ayodhya and exposing the inner conflicts in the party," he said.
The reality of the BJP leadership and the "corrupt practices" had come to light in the sting operations on electronic media, he claimed alleging, its leaders were having "links with criminals and mafias in Uttar Pradesh following which BJP President Rajnath Singh had refused to demand CBI inquiry in a serious matter." However, he did not specify the matter he was talking about.
BJP has also failed to raise the rampant "anarchy" in UP in a forceful manner in Parliament or elsewhere, Chinmayanad said.
