The model who debuted with Naqaab had an eight film contract with the production house that stopped her from taking up outside offers without a go-ahead from the Taurani brothers.

Ramesh and Kumar Taurani were not willing to oblige even though after the Abbas-Mustan directed debacle, Sharma's promising career came to a halt.

For over a year she sat at home, twiddling her thumbs. While Tips Films after a three-year hibernation following the failure of Fida, jumped back into production. "They are hoping to click big time with Race and so are completely focused on the project. No wonder Urvashi is feeling frustrated," informs a source.

Ramesh Taurani denied the rumour. However, when prodded on whether Sharma had decided to call off the contract, he said, "Please ask Kumar Taurani.. he's the right person to answer this."

Kumar Taurani was unavailable for comment.
