With reference to the report Pak Taliban kidnap, behead two Sikhs (February 22), the killing of Sikhs by the Taliban is barbaric and should be condemned. The Koran doesn’t approve of murder. On the contrary, it encourages Muslims to help other human beings, irrespective of their religion, and spread the message of peace. Unfortunately, a few Muslims have misinterpreted Islam’s teachings for selfish reasons and are now spreading violence in the name of religion. What they don’t realise is that killing innocents will not serve any purpose.
