VP Singh, Ram Vilas Paswan meet Sonia Gandhi

It is presumed that Singh is seeking to bring about a compromise as Paswan is unhappy for not getting the Railways portfolio.

Press Trust of IndiaAhead of the swearing-in of a Congress-led coalition Government at the Centre, former Prime Minister VP Singh and Lok Jan Shakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan met Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Saturday.
Singh, who played a major role in bringing together the regional and Left parties to fight jointly against BJP and its allies in the Lok Sabha elections, visited her for the third time after the declaration of the poll results.
It is presumed that Singh is seeking to bring about a compromise as Paswan is unhappy for not getting the Railways portfolio.
