Where do I place the Laughing Buddha?
The Laughing Buddha should be facing the main door, directly or diagonally....Post your query
Q. My date of birth is September 1, 1958. Place is Delhi. Time is 9.45 pm. My query is that we stay in an apartment and at present can't change it. And, of course have no control over the design as it is a rented apartment. We are on the 10th floor. The problem is that South side of our apartment is open and on the second floor it has a pool on that side. Since we have moved in the apartment, even if we have done good for somebody, it has brought us bad name. Also, there is a lot of relationship problems we are facing. I read somewhere that south of the house should not be open and should not have a pool etc. In the present situation we have no control over it and at the same time we are suffering so much for no fault of ours. Please, if you can advise some measures, we will be deeply grateful to you.

A. South stands for Fame and Glory and while the presence of Fire in this direction has a positive impact, the presence of Water can cause problems. Feng Shui often is about symbolic cures and readjustment and balancing of various elements to nullify or reduce the impact of flawed surroundings. I am sure your surroundings can be corrected without any civil work. However, this will be a professional consultation where I will need the floor plan of your house and some photographs of the interiors. I will also need the date(s) of birth of all the inmates of the house. You can write to me directly at md@mohandeep.com for further information.
Q. I have a laughing Buddha kept in my cubicle. In which direction should I place it? I'm seated facing North East and the door leading me out of my cubicle is in West direction? Thanks in advance for the answer.

A. The Laughing Buddha should be facing the main door, directly or diagonally. It is not possible to know whether North East is your lucky direction without having access to your date of birth.
