WI Tests: Decision on Sachin by May 22

The squad for the Test series would be selected on May 24 and a final decision on Tendulkar's availability would be taken by May 22.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Niranjan Shah on Wednesday said that the Indian team for the Test series against West Indies would be selected on May 24 and a final decision on Sachin Tendulkar's availability for the same would be taken by May 22.

Mr Shah said Sachin Tendulkar was not considered for the one day series against West Indies due to shoulder injury.
