Will miss Yuvi, says Dhoni

Skipper MS Dhoni said India would miss Yuvraj Singh in the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and hoped the southpaw would return to the national side soon.

“Of course we will miss him. In the last couple of years he has been one of our main strengths in the middle order. The way he can bat, hardly any batsman can,” Dhoni said “At the same time it will be really great if some youngsters can fill in the space,” he added.

“The kind of talent Yuvraj is, I don’t think it will be difficult for him to come back. I am hoping he will be back as soon as possible. I am a big fan of Yuvraj and it is a pleasure to have him in the side,” said Dhoni.

Saha bolsters India ‘A’

Leicester: A late half-century from wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha propped India ‘A’ up to 291 in their match against West Indies ‘A.’

India slumped from 130 for 1to 230 for 9, before recovering. Quickie Andre Russel was the bowling star with 5 for 68. At tea, West Indies ‘A’ were 37 for 1, still trailing by 110.
