Last week Aug 15, a 60-year-old man jumped onto the tracks of the Tilak Nagar metro station. The man was saved as the driver of the metro rail applied the emergency brakes in time.

Several suicide incidents have occurred at Kirti Nagar, Malviya Nagar, MG Road, Chandni Chowk and Sultanpur metro stations this year.
