The workshop is being organised by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and the National Commission for Women (NCW) at the Centre for Development Studies, Ullor, in the Kerala capital.

The workshop will discuss various aspects of problematic marriages involving NRIs and try to find out solutions.

The presidential address will be delivered by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Women and Child Development Renuka Choudhury.

NCW chairperson Girija Vyas and Kerala's Health and Social Welfare Minister PK Sreemathi will also address the gathering.

More that 100 delegates are expected to participate in the event.

This is the second of a series of workshops being organised by MOIA and NCW. The first was held at Chandigarh in June this year and two more are planned in Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.
