THE STUDENTS of World Way International School who had appeared for the ‘International Assessment for India Schools’ (IAIS) in September 2005, have came out with flying colours.
Utkarsh Pandey of class III brought laurels to the schools by scoring the highest mark in the entire region. Awadhi Chauhan of class VII, Arjun Baxi of class VI and Akshata Joshi of class IV also brought glory to the school by achieving high distinctions and gold medals.
Students from World Way International School exhibited high-level skills when they participated in the recent IAIS. One of the special benefits of the assessment is that schools and students receive detailed diagnostic information about their overall performance. Principal P Chakraborthy thanked all the staff members and parents for their cooperation and assistance.
Organised by Macmillan, the University of New South Wales, conducted this examination in various parts of the country in September 2005,with the results declared in February 2006. Chairman Professional Examination Board, and senior IAS officer, Dr Ajit Raizada, handed the certificates and medals to the students at the school campus in the course of a colourful ceremony.
