A young woman was allegedly raped and killed by unidentified persons in Kishni area of the district.

A young woman was allegedly raped and killed by unidentified persons in Kishni area of the district, police said here on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the woman, a housewife, had gone out last night to answer the call of nature, they said adding her badly bruised body was later recovered from the fields.
District Police Chief K Satyanaraina said that it appeared that the woman was first raped and then killed.
